AHHHH Mariana zapata has me in a chokehold I seriously just read 670 pages of a slow burn when nothing happened until 97% through AND I ENJOYED EVERY SECOND OF IT
Best romance book I’ve ever read! The slow burn, the chemistry, the pining, the male character, the female character, the spicy scene, everything is perfect! This book is subtle but believable, it’s friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, marriage of convenience, everything wrapped up in a perfect bundle. And it works. Loved it!

this is my first marianna zapata book and wow, wow and WOW. it did not disappoint at all! i loved the slow burn it was absolutely perfect. the only thing i didn’t love was how he showed no interest to her but then was begging at his feet when she left?? should’ve put in the effort sir, BUT he did make up for it throughout the rest of the book, i loved their relationship and gosh the quotes had be giggling and swinging my feet, i had to film my reaction to finishing this book and all i was doing was smiling and just ugh such a warm read for me i loved this and will definitely be reading more of marianna’s books
