Wow!! What a ride! I had to many emotions while reading it. It definitely isn’t the most original story but it was an incredible retelling. I have to say, I have conflicted emotions ‘cause it is very similar to one of my all time favourite books but at the same it it’s different. Anyway my inner fangirl loved this book!!!

I loved this book. I got it through Amazon Unlimited and I read the whole book in one night! I fell in love with the characters and I felt I went on a journey with them.
it would’ve been mediocre if i could’ve connected with the characters but i couldn’t so it just sucked

Yo necesitaba un libro que no me hiciera sufrir y no ha sido precisamente el libro perfecto porque he sufrido. Mucho. He sentido impotencia. Rabia. Solo quería abrazar a la protagonista y matar a todos los demás.
Las historias de amor que surgen entre dos mejores amigos me pueden. Me parecen tan especiales y tan bonitas, que muero lentamente de amor.
Ella es un personaje que ha sufrido y mientras leía el libro yo sufría con ella. Pero ha sido increíble.
No me ha durado ni 10 horas 🌚.

Ella has endured a lot of hardships, and to make matters worse, none of the adults in this book gave a damn about her feelings at all! (besides her best friend and the love interests) I acknowledge her stepmom and stepsisters' hostility since it's a Cinderella retelling. However, the rest of the characters including the dad, the psychiatrist, and the principal were unjustifiable and downright unlikeable.
I couldn't stand the amount of ableism and it made me mad and upset. Despite that, don't be discouraged about reading it, considering many others loved this book. It just wasn't the right book for me.
