What can I possibly say about this book???

Lilly and Jacob have a rocky road through their time together. Things change, things happen, life sucks at times, and other people butt into their lives. All these things can either tear them apart or bind them together. The question becomes, are they going to let others decide what is best for them or are they going to fight for what they really want?

Once again M delivered feels in such a way that it can't help but make you feel like it is happening to you! Yes I have been known to message her and tell her how much I need a drink to get through or at the end of the book. This one, no different.

For me, there is an ugly twist in that I can picture myself in Lilly, especially in one spot. See, I know what she is feeling as my dad is fighting cancer, and is losing. Needless to say I can see myself reacting the way Lilly does, and it was ugly and painful to read her reactions, as well as the chat her mom has with Jacob. Let me tell you, once again, UGLY crying took place, cussing out the author and just about throwing my Kindle across the room.

This book....this story...OMG. Everything that was there is just amazing! Jacob is just so hot and sexy. And Lily? God, I would certainly not want her as a younger sister. And not because she is a horrible sister. No. But when I think of all those grey hair she would give me... Yeah. I felt sorry for her brother ;)

But the story. Ms. Robinson has created a perfect story of an older guy and at the same time being in love with your best friend little sister. Both Lily and Jacob are hotheaded and stubborn. Their stubbornness causes them a lot of troubles, heartache, chasing but also: hot and steamy sexy times! I loved it. Every word written there.

What I like about Ms. Robinson writing? That she is giving you the glimpses of how they were before and how they are now. It lets you get to know them better.

This book makes you have so many feels and emotions. I was crying, laughing and cursing like a sailor.

SIMPLY AMAZING.

Keep them coming Ms!

Too much screaming. Too much immature behaviour. Too much drama.

When you fall in love with your best friend’s sister there is always the issue of losing his friendship that keeps the feelings under wraps. But Lily has other ideas for Jake, and although there may be numerous years between them the heart wants what the heart wants. This book had me laughing out loud and sighing with happiness – M. Robinson – you have done it again.

M. Robinson can write one hell of an epic tale. Her books are long and have a lot of meat to them. Who doesn't love a best friend's little sister romance? I sure as heck do. I was a little meh about the first book in the Good Ol' Boys series. But the set up for Jacob and Lily's story was just too good to pass up reading.

These characters were hot and cold. They definitely steamed up my kindle. M. knows how to write some sexy times. The push and pull that kept these two tied to each other was very well written. But like the last book in this series I just felt like there was something missing.

While it was more interesting than book one, Forbid Me just missed the mark a tad for me. I needed more. I wanted more. I wish it wasn't as heavy on backstory. But it was worth the read.

I loved the idea of the story. Jacob being 7 years older. but the execution left lacking.
and the way he talks to her...
