This was an absolute page-turner for me. I fell in love with Blue's sassy strength immediately and West, as entitled and uppity as he is, pushes all the right buttons with Blue. And while Blue's character is also vulnerable in her own ways, she definitely gives West a run for his money and not a pushover. This is a bully/NA romance with some dark themes and possible triggers, but it's written fantastically well and I was able to visualize every scene. My only complaint is that it's there's a major cliffhanger at the end, so if you're not into waiting for the next book, I would suggest holding your horses. I'm not sorry, though, because I found myself wowed to the point that I'll wait as long as it takes for the rest of the story.

WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST READ? Like I need a fucking drink ASAP. How could you do this to me? Where the hell is book 2?

Title: The Golden Boys

Author: Rachel Jonas & Nikki Thorne

Blue. She’s the real MVP. If I was her it’s would be like a remake of “Carrie.” No joke. This girl is a Saint. I’d be tying Wes up and demanding some damn answers. I cannot wait to see what she does next. If she does go “Carrie” on them. I’d be applauding.

Wes. WHAT A DICK! Like for real. Im trying really hard to like him, but he’s making it really fucking difficult.

This is a bully romance, so fair warning. That is what you are going to get. It’s a great story that sucked me in, but it to me it isn’t for the faint of heart. If you are up for it. GET IT NOW! ___________________________________

As the new girl Blue doesn't know what to expect, but it is definitely not the hot guy with a deep hatred for her.

blown away!

Okay so I went into this blind. It was recommended to me by a friend and when I tell you I was blown away… It gave me very much gossip girl meets euphoria vibes! I loved it so much and kept me so intrigued. I’m diving into the 2nd one asap!

This one just wasn't for me. It was so hard to feel a connection with anyone, or understand any of the characters' choices. It was an easy read and I think others may enjoy it. I just won't be finishing this series.

Ouf.. okay, where to start..
First of all, I love our main girl! Finally, an FMC who actually talks back! My only true gripe with her is the fact that she chose not to tell anyone about what's going on.. like, I get her reasoning, but girly, you can't get mad then if those same people you lied to suddenly like the guy!

Our MMC, on the other hand, I'm not the biggest fan of... for a guy who constantly monologs about how he is the only one who knows how bad his dad is, he sure as shit bought his lie REAL quick.

I fucking hate stories where people don't just come straight out and say shit, JUST BE HONEST PEOPLE!

I didn't actually know this book was a trilogy, so that was a bit of a bummer, since I constantly waited around for the answers to be revealed, that's on me! I didn't do a proper background check. Idk, I feel like the story is still a bit messy. The author seems to have way too much drama lined up, and I don't know how I feel about it... anyone who knows me knows that I hate it when stories have way too many plot points. But I'll read the second book, and here's hoping for the best!
