if you’re looking for a slow-burn then this is it!! I couldn’t stop reading as the heat between Blue and West just kept climbing up up up!!

I know people hate this so disclaimer the MMC hooks up with girls through this whole book that are not the FMC. Well mostly one girl is constantly mentioned but still… she’s a cunt too.

I wish we could get some goddamn context on some stuff because I feel like I’m reading half a story right now and as soon as I forget something that is still not fully revealed it’s brought up again and I get frustrated all over again.

I do be loving the gossip girl vibes though. If I could rewrite this book I’d go team Ricky…

I dunno. I feel like West’s reason for being a prick wasn’t good enough. I know we got an explanation for why he didn’t go after the real bad guy, but still. Seems kinda gutless. And he REALLY was a jerk.

I actually enjoyed this book a lot. Probably up there in my top 5-10 Bully Romances. The ending of this book had me like this

What a ride this is, this new series started in the best way possible, with brilliant characters, a plotline that will have you hooked from the start, a slow burn that will make you beg for more, and all the twists and turns you never see coming. A strong girl and the guy who is such a bully and that has so many secrets that you just need to read to get him. Full of angst and turmoil that I want the next one now! The audiobook narrated by Neill Thorn, Lessa Lamb, and Sarah Pucket is brilliant, I strongly suggest you check it out and consider hearing the story from these fantastic artists.

Not the biggest fan. Was a flat read overall. Didn’t feel heat or real tension between the two leads. The characters all seemed flat. Also, read this entire book and nothing really happened or was answered, so there was nothing to convince me that I need to keep reading this series. I’ll be moving on to something else instead now.
