This book is beautiful. The art style makes me want to blow up panels and hang them on my wall. I love the pallet and want to gush about the art all day long. 5 stars for the art!
Unfortunate I did not feel as positive about the story. There would be pages where I thought the story was coming together, then something would happen and it would feel rushed or too convenient, I don't know exactly, but it did not flow throughout. I wanted to like it because I liked the concept and it is a sweet story, but it was only OK. It is by no means bad, just OK.

I've really been loving graphic novels lately and this one did not disappoint. The illustrations are just gorgeous and I loved all the different colours involved! The story is a really lovely one about the life of a young girl in charge of her family's laundrette and a super cute ghost! I read this one super quickly but fell in love with the characters and the story all the same. I would definitely recommend this if you're just getting into graphic novels and love gorgeous illustrations! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sheets is funny, kinda emotional, with an interesting plot. I was confused initially, but it all ironed itself out. While I enjoyed the unique twist on a ghost story, I felt there were a few problematic elements such as: the creepy pedo seeming guy lurking around the laundry issuing odd compliments to a young girl, the brother mentioning dad's "special coffee", and this young girl running a business by herself and the dad just letting her make decisions. Just a bit odd. But hey everyone needs friends right, even if it's a ghost.
