Poor Bruno. Felt like a timely read, with the focus on screening as crime prevention. I like how Kamala's growth involves a lot of forward and back, with good intentions not always getting the best result. It feels real and true.

I don't know why, but I was worried about this one. I mean, this series has been so great, and I was wondering when the ball would drop. But so far it hasn't. I'm not going to spoil, but damn a lot changes in this volume as opposed to all the others. Kamala has to make a lot of decisions based on external factors, and so far, I don't hate any of her choices. She's definitely growing in a positive direction but damn, I felt for her in this comic. A lot of hard decisions had to be made, at the expense of things she has loved. It was really serious but also really funny. This is a great series, and I hope it continues in that direction still.

I loved the flashback sequences about Kamala’s family. Also enjoy all the appearances of other Marvel characters. This is such an awesome series!

Earlier Marvel published a Spider-Man/Silver Surfer team-up and then this book opens with Miles Morales meeting Kamala Khan. Clearly, Marvel is reading my dream journal. While this book opens on a light note, G. Willow Wilson quickly ramps up the action and the emotion. Ms. Marvel confronts not only her hero in this volume but her own falibility. I can't wait to see where Wilson takes us next.

I really liked the themes in this volume - and the questions that come up re can you predict and stop crime before it happens and if you can should you?
