A good addition to the series however it seems the author is maybe trying to do too much and is making weird explanations for certain plot points. But there is still one more book, so maybe it will all come together. Excited to see where it goes but also ready to move on from this series.
I like where Jacob and Noor's relationship is going and Noor has been a great addition (definitely the coolest power). I wish he would learn his lesson and stop running off without telling anyone.

I am having some mixed feelings. I am loving the new *spoiler alert* love interest! I also love the way Jacob and Emma are handling it. They both are being honest with their feelings, and I think that was handled well. I am not loving how almost all American peculiars are these stereotypes of hillbillies or gangsters. It's like the only peculiars in power there are bad ones, and on one hand, I can kind of see how that could happen, but then again it seems like a stretch. I'm not sure, I guess I will see how I feel by the end of the last book.
