BEST BOOK OF THE SERIES!!! WOWOWOW. I just finished and I am floored. Honestly, I thought my love for the series was waining but Conference of the Birds was absolutely magnificent and relit a fire in me. Bravo Ransom truly a 10/10 read.ππΎ
I know some people feel butt hurt about the break up but that relationship was never going to work. It was SO obvious she was still in love with Abe and that wasn't fair to Jacob at all. I know his relationship with Noor moved quickly but given the circumstances it's understandable. When your world is flipped upside down like Noor's was, you will find comfort in someone who had recently experianced the same thing. And its clear Jacob felt the same way. Although, I agree, Jacob should have kept his new relationship under wraps for Emmas sake but i think were forgetting he is a TEENAGER. He's bound to make blunders on the relationship front. Honestly, I think it adds to the authenticity of his character.

The romance between Noor and Jacob is not only ridiculously constructed and underdeveloped but VERY distracting and annoying. Tbh, I miss the more pure focus on the world and the task at hand. I feel like Jacob's romances and need to be the hero makes him reckless and thoughtless. We didn't even get to know the mythologized V before she's killed (??). The other characters are very unidimensional as well. And what disrespect toward Emma! π This book was a hot mess. I thought the last one was messy, but little did I know this one was coming...
