I wanted something different and was intrigued by the concept of the FMC being the villain! I don’t know if it’s because it was quite a bit darker than my other reads so far, or if it was because I didn’t connect super well with the characters, or if the slow burn was TOO slow for me, or if the dialogue was bugging me a bit… probably all of the above… but I didn’t love it. I didn’t find myself dying to get back to it, and I didn’t shed a tear (the real barometer for my investment). I quite liked Dianna & Liam at parts, especially when their relationship picked up over halfway or so through the book, and that ending was major!!! But it’s not a world I’m itching to stay in and I don’t think I’ll continue the series for now. Grateful for the journey as I am learning what kinds of books I like!

This book, for me, in my humble opinion, lived up to the hype! It involves, celestials, vampires, werewolves, witches, all the good shit a reader could ask for! I loved every minute of this book. Yes it's spicy, but what I fell in love with were all the characters. This is a book  I could just read and get lost in the world that Ms Amber created! And that spiciness, once you get to it, ooooh is toe curling! Definitely loved it, that ending had me gutted! THIS BOOK GAVE ME ALL THE FEELS AND I LOVED IT!

I love the book but then I hate how each dialogue is long as well as its chapter. Nonetheless, the story and the plot is amazing.

This was cute. Liam’s affect reminded me of Meet Joe Black. There were a lot of errors and some awkward phrasing, but overall I really enjoyed the story.
