I would like to see this as the beginning of a series because the secondary characters were as much fun as Elle and Luc. Also, this story isn't over...too many loose ends still.

This was an incredibly fun read. I loved the magic, the fae, the characters, and the romance.

I haven't actually finished this. I'm not sure I can honestly. I'm a romance girlie through and through but the romance in this was pretty much the least intense thing going on. The reason I loved it though is the end reason I can't even look at it right now.  Ellie and Tony had the best sibling relationship I've ever read I loved it so much they way the talked and interacted I just loved it all until somewhere at the 60% mark I realized it was a lot like me and my older brother when we were close and then I started crying because we hardly talk these days and once I pulled myself together and started reading again every interaction Tony and Ellie had made me start crying again I made it to about seventy something percent they were having dinner or he was having dinner and she was sitting sullenly and I just couldn't do it anymore but my emotional baggage is not this delightful books fault so I refuse to mark it as a DNF and honestly I would give it 5 stars but I can't bear to see it at the top of my list for God knows how long so here we are if you're emotionally well adjusted on family issues pick up Bitter Medicine! If not still pick up Bitter Medicine but also tissues and booze to get you through it of course I had neither at the moment so I was screwed before I started lol
