Solid romance

Brianna and Gavin fall in love at first sight. They spend most of the book denying it and getting in the way of their own love, then finally come together in the end.

There’s no mystery, suspense, or real action in this book. So, if you like books with any of those, then this isn’t the book for you. If you’re looking for a Hallmark style romance, then this is probably the book. The only difference between this and Hallmark is that there’s a lot more sex.

I’m not going to proactively read the other books in the series. There are better books out there. The characters were all okay. There were some really funny lines. Overall, it’s a solid book. If you want to read it, do. Just don’t expect too much from it. Happy reading y’all!!

Ok read

Could have left a lot of part out that didn’t just make sense. Not going to give the story away but some things were just stupid

This book is a combination of the most overdone cliches and porn level “anaconda” scenes.

Good story but kind of fell off around 80%. The ending was a bit boring. I think what really was the problem was the male performer his voice is good but it didn't match the character in my opinion.

What happens?
Brianna walks in on Gavin completely naked and panics. She runs away thinking her job is going to be over when her horrible boss finds out.
Gavin is determined to find the pretty maid that left him hanging there. He isn't usually left by women so is naturally curious about her.
Final thoughts
I like Lauren's books but this is awful and I won't be reading this again. If this had been my introduction to her I'd never have picked up another book of hers.
The heroine is bratty and childish, I get the author wants to convey shes innocent yadayadayada. However she is just awful person, she insults others for sex, she calls him this awful nickname.
This book is really crappy for why he is called that. The whole thing of monster dick never gets me going to be honest like why write about something that isn't that sexy? Especially not sexy for a virgin whose first time will be pretty painful if hes as gigantic as this is making him out to be.
I liked him for the most part but even then I didn't love him. He was arrogant, a crappy character with no development there isn't any falling in love its two characters fucking and then wham there are feelings.
Really odd book!
Would I read again?: No
Would I read this author again?: If I hadn't already other books from her I wouldn't

Not very funny but good read

Snake jokes and Mindy's inappropriate humor are the only funny moments in this book. I'd just call it a romance even though the male lead is a football star it's not sports based.
medium-paced

The premise was good, but the execution was not that great. It wasn't a bad story, but also not a great one.

DID NOT FINISH: 40%

Ridiculous characters, boring storyline. Hardly any plot to drive me to want to read any more. Awkward chemistry between the characters.

I only finished this because I was too

Loved this one!
