This was a good read, not my favorite from Lauren Landish, but I did enjoy the book and found it funny in parts. I don't enjoy sports books but this was not really about sport so it was smooth reading with plenty of the normal.
Ok
Soooo....this book was pretty boring. I tried to like it but I couldn’t. It was boring. I skipped so much of the dialogue. There was no chemistry between the two main characters. I just couldn’t connect.

Horrible. I think the only good thing about it was the sex scene. No real background for either characters, the plot doesn't work , and can we get out of the hotel at all. The whole book circle around a hotel and we only met three characters that worked in the hotel. I can't. I have read some other books from this author that were pretty good. This one I could hardly get through. I don't like to shelf books, but came close with this one.
I really enjoyed this funny romantic story. Gavin was charming and irresistible and Brianna was strong and didn't just give in to Gavin because of who he was. I loved how the two navigated being so different and having very different lives. Mindy and Bri's friendship was so fun and Mindy herself was hilarious. I can't wait to read more about her in the next book.
I should have known from the title to keep my expectations low. The slut shaming for no reason was ridiculous but not as ridiculous as the male lead’s “mine mine mine” attitude. Seriously I know he’s trying the acting thing maybe Pixar needs another seagull voice actor. After exactly .5 seconds of meeting *vomits* Anaconda the female lead is in instalove and he’s determined to sleep with her because she rejected his advances.
If cringe worthy dialogues and male self inflated ego are your thing this book won’t be too bad.

While it was silly and predictable, I enjoyed the quick read.
