Too many possibilities and red herrings. I disliked most of the characters (mainly that french archeologist, the younger one). The moment the dentist disguised himself I suspected him and also knew the murderer was the son-in-law the moment they told us the daughter was recently married. Didn’t really connect the two facts but wasn’t surprised at all by the ending.

For some reason I thought the murder and the solving of the murder would happen while on the plane on the air! It doesn’t. I don’t think they dreams of air travel that could last more than a couple hours

Other than the casual racism of the time, pretty good. Is if the best of the Poirot series? Not at all but still good. I always try to guess and get it wrong.

Good read to get out of a reading slump. However, mostly predictable. Still a good read.
