This is another Agatha Christie whodunit that surprised me with its ending. It’s fun, it’s quick, it’s engaging. What more can be said?

Okay, I will say more about it. It’s not the best whodunit mystery I’ve read from Christie, but it gets the job done. The twists and turns and misdirects are all classic and maybe this mystery doesn’t have all the clues spread out, but at least it gave me a shock at the end.

This time around, Poirot is caught with the case after being on board a plane where a woman is killed with a poison dart just a few seats behind him. Poirot once again is the star of the novel with his wit and unexpected kindness that welcomes everyone.

You know Agatha Christie is good when you saw a spoiler as you started reading it and still didn’t guess who the murderer was

Nice to read an Agatha Christie that was at least worthy of her name, if not her best.
