My favorite book in this series! I love how action packed it is. it's so fast-paced and easy to read and just one hell of a good time! This reminded me how much I adored uncle Rick's stories. Definitely one of my top 3 seies of all time!
I am so so so glad it's been 10-15 years since I've read this series first. I forgot so many things and so much detail that I was reading it with very fresh eyes and oh, I can say that it is one of my absolute favorite series ever. This series is like my comfort read. It made me, makes me feel so good and happy! There literally isn't a character that I dislike and there isn't a thing I wish that would be different. This series rocks. These characters rock. I am filled with so much love and excitement thanks to it! I am so glad I made the decision to pick it up and read it after so many years.

This book wastes no time throwing you into the thick of everything and boy is there a lot of trouble from the get-go.
I think this was my favorite out of all of the books mainly due to how masterfully Riordan reintroduces all the characters that we've come to love up until this point. Everyone has a moment to shine and it doesn't feel like a lackluster cameo. The relationships all work really well and it's great to see how the prophesy came to pass. A little more insight on Luke's backstory might've been good but I do like what they were able to do with the time we had with him.
