WELCOME, THE MOST POWERFUL COUPLE OF ALL TIME, PETCABETH!!!!!!

Well, this was an explosive amd action-packed ending to a fantastic series. Unfortunately, this was my least favourite of all the books simply because the big final battle was SOOOOO long, but it really was necessary to end the series in such a dramatic way. No one attack me, but I wasn't totally invested in the romance, which dulled the ending for me. But overall, I loved this book and the whole series - it has everything you want in a middle grade adventure fantasy!

Menos mal hay todavía mucho que leer alrededor de esta historia, porque aunque es un muy buen final (o lo fue en su momento), siento un vacío tremendo.

It’s great when authors get ideas from other amazing stories and make it their own. Riordan, mixing the prodigal son with Greek mythology was so much fun!

I picked up the first book in this series on a whim and was completely enchanted. It was inventive, fun and (oddly) realistic. I also appreciated the educational element of the story; I saw it as an excellent way to teach kids the basics of the Greek gods and stories in a memorable way.

The rest of the books in the series were all equally as good---until I got to this one. The "final battle" has been looming throughout the series and it finally takes place in this book. The trouble is that the final battle is ALL that takes place in the book. Don't get me wrong--I love a good battle scene; however, this book was nearly devoid of plot other than the drawn-out final battle and its completely predictable outcome. After that drawn out process, we are left with a painful set up for a future book/series which may or may not contain the same characters.

I was disappointed by finale of the series; I wanted something fresh and exciting (something I had come to expect from the well-written series) but this was almost painful to finish. I purchased it the day it came out and finally finished it nearly 4 and a half months later.
