An easy read and one can stop reading the series when done reading this book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series since the major plot after the end of the first book is resolved and taken care of. However, the ending does hint to a few other adventures a reader can experience later on.

I wish we had more lead up before the major battle but I guess one could argue that the last 4 books were the lead up...

The end had me all sentimental. These books were a solid piece of my childhood. I think I may need to read the next series to keep the good vibes going

A fitting conclusion to this coming-of-age tale. I felt like the last battle was a little drawn out, but overall it was a touching goodbye to Luke, and very interesting.
