Usually I like possessive men in books but this one made the FMC useless to compensate. At the start she’s an independent woman who is working 3 jobs to cover debt racked up in her name by her ex and then within 2 chapters she can’t do anything and anything he says goes? I like him paying off her debts and wanting her safe and not work multiple jobs but he doesn’t ask he just tells/demands. Not to mention he decided they were together after barely interacting outside of his on thoughts!

This was everything I want in quick mafia book. Mmc is obsessed with the FMC. Wants her and will not take no for an answer. Borders on psychopathic but he is sweet for her and it’s never towards her. I loved it so much
This first book I have read by Montana Fyre and it didn't disappoint. This is an Ininstant attraction mafia romance. Emerson and her dad own a youth center that she loves. Her ex screw her causing her to have to work 3 jobs. Raynes is having to do community servies to fixs heis public image. Emerson is miss independent and helps others, well not letting them help her. And Raynes is an possessive alpha male that gives huge touch her and you die vibes. This 18+ please check tw. And i cant wait to read more by montana.

I could not put this book down! I crushed it in one night and I can’t wait for the next book. I was going in skeptical. The cover reminded me of romance novels I’d find in my parents basement but BOY, was I pleasantly surprised. I love a romantic story line where the characters don’t give up on each other or call it quits when it gets tough and neither Rayne or Emerson give up on each other even though the events in their lives encourage them to go separate ways. Emerson is a very strong FMC and fights Rayne on almost everything but in the ends finds that what she was missing in life was someone to love and take of her. This book could have easily been a whole series and I can’t wait to see Rayne and Em again in the next book.
