Great book great characters, the book was a quick read but I think it’s more because of a great storyline. The characters did fall in love very fast but this can be good or bad this one was done well but the acceptance of the mafia rules and things being accepted so quickly by the FMC made her seem to deeply dumb in love which I didn’t 100% love but still really enjoyed the book.

The plot was pretty good. There were some plot holes though. I like mafia books especially with morally gray MMCs. Emerson is a great FMC. She’s stubborn, stands up for herself but yet you can still see how her trauma makes her feel insecure. Rayne drove me crazy though. His obsession with her was intense. I found myself rolling my eyes at him a lot. However, this is a good book to read when you are looking for a classic mafia romance.

When it Raynes is the first book in the Frost Industries series by Montana Fyre. This book follows the story of Emerson and Rayne. Emerson is drowning in debt thanks to her ex. She is working three jobs to pay it off. While she is at the youth centre she runs with her father, she meets Rayne Saint James who is volunteering at the centre. Emerson is attracted to Rayne as soon as she meets him for the first time. Rayne is the enforcer for his family. He instantly falls for Emerson and wants to keep her safe. They clash a bit due to Emerson being fiercely independent and Raynes needing to protect her from everything. He is an overprotective and won't take no for an answer alpha male. This was such a fast-paced read I couldn't put it down. The spice in this book was amazing. Their chemistry was amazing. I loved the rest of Raynes's siblings.

This first book I have read by Montana Fyre and it didn't disappoint. This is an Ininstant attraction mafia romance. Emerson and her dad own a youth center that she loves. Her ex screw her causing her to have to work 3 jobs. Raynes is having to do community servies to fixs heis public image. Emerson is miss independent and helps others, well not letting them help her. And Raynes is an possessive alpha male that gives huge touch her and you die vibes. This 18+ please check tw. And i cant wait to read more by montana.
