I was happily along for the ride! Not the best writing, but the fun of the story allowed me to look past the corniness. Dragons are so cool!!!!

I have somewhat mixed feelings about the book.
I was entertained; however, I do feel like the book itself wasn't that great.
Violet, as a character, was pretty frustrating, and her (platonic) relationships aren't written as if they are important, and yet conflicts within these relationships seem to matter a lot. I also struggle with believing that Violet is the shortest person ever to get that far, which is implied.
I feel like there is a problem with insta-lust and insta-love, which made the romance fall short for me.
