Fourth Wing is not the life-changing 10/10 I was ~~promised~~ told about in a YouTube video from a YouTuber I generally trust the opinions of. It was two things, mainly: cringey and cheesy. Unfortunately (for the book, not for me), I enjoyed laughing at all the cringe. Fortunately for both me and the book, I’m a certified romance cheese connoisseur. From start to finish this book never let up. Even in quieter moments you still get solid world building. This book flawlessly nailed inclusivity with its diverse characters without fetishizing them. The fact that the protagonist has a disability but it isn’t the center of her being is just incredible. I really enjoyed this book. Can’t wait to start the second one.

I saw one plot twist from a mile away......but the ending......I gasped so hard I choked. I cannot wait to start the second book (even though I had a couple cringes during this one)!
