Thoroughly enjoyed this read! It brought back a lot of memories. This one will likely be one that I pick up periodically from time to time to re-read.
This is now my favorite book. Each character was so well crafted. I won’t be forgetting Jesse’s story anytime soon.
A young adult book about coming of age - although I’m not sure the ending is appropriate for preteens. Story is different than most, covering anorexia as well as family, issues of loyalty and, as obvious from the title, moonshine. I felt the writing was very sophomoric. Too much “he said” and “she said” before each line, and too much repetition (my pet peeve).
