Tenia ganes de llegir aquest llibre, per deixar la saga d'en Septimus tancada. I aquest llibre és dels bons. Té moments divertits, no sembla que hi hagi excessius personatges (com en entregues anteriors), i es llegeix bé.
Però... però... arribes al final i ja veus que hi ha una pila d'històries que queden "penjades". No queden penjades del tot, però no és un final-final. És un final "fins aquí hem acabat amb els dolents, però tots els personatges seguiran amb la seva vida, i no t'explico exactament què serà d'ells d'aquí a uns anys".
Fins que arribes a la última pàgina i veus que hi haurà una nova sèrie. Una sèrie que passa al cap d'uns anys, on la protagonista serà una noia que surt en un paràgraf d'aquest últim llibre. I són 3 llibres més...

I’ve finally read this. Eight and a half years on, I’ve finally read this. It feels bittersweet, the end of an era. I am honestly kind of really sad.
I committed to finally reading Fyre this year. My promise to myself was that it would be my first book of the year. That way, I’d start my year on a high and I’d have no excuse to not read it (I’ve found plenty in 8.5 years). I had three days at the start of the year to read this before I went back to work… and I did it.
With that said, obviously this review isn’t going to be entirely unbiased (it’s been my life for thirteen years). But I think it’s accurate still. I’ve sat on it for a few days and I think I’m still right. It’s not my favourite in the series, but it’s almost a different book from the previous six and I needed to enjoy different things in this.
Fyre isn’t as plot driven as previous books, but that doesn’t have to be surprising. In a seven book series, where I have grown up with these characters, the final book gives the characters a chance to reach the “destinations” they’ve been working towards in all the previous books.
I loved getting to see Beetle in his new role, getting to see Wolf Boy take over from Aunt Zelda, getting to see Jenna finally working towards being the Queen, getting to see Simon and Lucy be happy and start a new life, and getting to see Septimus explore Alchemie and Magyk, so he could finally decide on one. That said, not everything was seen to completion (Septimus and Jenna, after all, are only about 14), but there were so many hints of what would be seen - or at least hinted at - in the next series.
I really enjoyed the character relationships in this. For so long, there have been characters that haven’t always got along, so it was refreshing to see them happy again. There were also promises of new relationships (I hope). Interestingly, I was surprised by what Queen Cerys was like when she was finally introduced to Jenna.
I was worried the start of the book was going to be a bit info dumpy - the reader was suddenly shown flashbacks of what had happened a long time ago - but I think the information was well balanced. It gave us information that would be needed later on, so we could shout at the characters to work it out too. I was also still amazed the whole new aspects of the world could be introduced now and still be interesting.
All in all, I really enjoyed this. I don’t know what I was expecting, but I had a really nice time with it. I enjoyed getting to read a new book in this series after so long and I think it was exactly what the end of this series needed. I can’t wait to reread them again!
This was a great conclusion to theseries! As mentioned in the "Endings" section", Angie Sage is writing another series called "TodHunter Moon" which I can't wait to read!! :)
Good end to a good series. It was a bit odd that so many things from pervious books where include. But I liked how it wrapped up.

Setelah kecewa dgn buku ke 6 nya, darke, buku terakhir ini malah menurutku alurnya terlalu lambat. Buku2 terdahulul mmg lambat, mengingat buku ini termasuk kategori children book, tp ini kan buku terakhir kok konfliknya terasa datar sekali. Sampe pertengahan buku sampe bertanya2 apa ya konflik atau klimaks untuk buku terakhir ini, biasanya buku terakhir itu temanya final battle yg seru.
Namun buku ini termasuk yg ak suka, yah balik lagi krn buku ini termasuk children book sampe middle grade.

i would like to say a big thank you to this series for holding up to be as good as (if not better than) i remember from being 10 ... do i love septimus heap more than harry potter??? quite possibly. my heart is so full rn
