Helpful, my girl fully trained in a week, but the book is poorly edited and repetitive.

This book was a quick read with easy to follow steps to follow. I thought that the author was relatable and did a good job laying out a lot of information on a topic that seems to have a ton of pieces. Highly recommend for anyone looking to potty train their little one.

Potty training my son is not something  I was looking forward to, but I feel like this book gave me all the tools that I needed to be successful. She does definitely take a strong stance on certain topics, but I appreciate that because it helped me just choose a method already and get started.

Good method, but the book can be frustrating because she swears no judgement and then some paragraphs just feel dripping in judgement.

Helpful advice, but should be edited much more heavily. Glowacki, I don't want your advice on preschool, media, scheduling, diet, and whatever else you want to push on me. I want your advice on how to potty training my kid effectively, that's it. The "I'm just so saucy" attitude was grating, but fortunately, we are adult readers and can skim whatever we don't want or need to read.

So, like I'm finding most potty training books, some things are useful, many things are not. Plus side, this book is very specific, many detailed ideas and suggestions. I like examples. I don't want to drink the caveman diet Waldorf school koolaid. Win some, lose some.

Some of these ideas are maybe effective? I'll let you know when my toddler has three days straight of dry undies.

This book is especially great if you have no idea where to start! I did stray a little from the book, for example there is no way I'm waking my LO up in the middle of the night to pee, but for the most part this was great.

The rest of my opinion on this book is super negative but I still gave 4 stars because it helped me so much with getting started.

Like others have mentioned the tone is kind of annoying, but the worst part is definitely the overuse of "i" and "me" and inserting irrelevant personal experiences. For example in the poop chapter, there is a part where the author talks about her child's amazing daycare, for like 3 paragraphs.

The use of I, me, and my was really distracting. Maybe the intent was a laid back conversation but it came across as a know-it-all telling you all the ways you're failing or will fail if you don't follow her advice.
