This is a book about betrayal, secrets, and healing. I enjoyed watching the story of the Belle sisters unfold.

I really enjoyed this one. I found the complicated family dynamics relatable, and the story telling was on point. The narrator did a great job with the voice acting.  There were times where I was annoyed by each sister and times that I empathized with them.

A real tear jerker. Family secrets will get me every time in a book. I was fully emerged in all the drama and crying the last few chapters.

Talk about being freaking trigger holy crap. This was a good story I didn’t love the we aired it all out so it’s over feel. For Star sure because she had already been doing the work but for the rest of them not so much. And again that was trigger so much is never really hashed out because grief is all consuming. The drama and bad feelings between the sisters was understandable because as nostalgic as the growing up in the 80s and 90s were the toxic shit that we lived through was trash!!
There is so much about this book that was deeply personally triggering that I don’t even know what to say about the book itself. Is it worth the read, sure but man it’s hard to read these kind of things for me personally these days, so enter at your own risk .

I read the audiobook.  Didn't really like the narrator's pace and phrasing.  But the story was good.
