I liked this book way better than book 1. The plot had me very invested and for that I will probably read book 3 in March 2026. 

Again, the romance is just not there for me, but it definitely showed more growth through this book. I am happy to see Blake received a conscience in this book, which I think definitely helped his and Medras growth.

I loved the plot twists in these books. I definitely didn’t predict any of them. The ending was very fast, but looking forward to the next book.
