Im really enjoying this series and I can't believe I now have to wait until 2026 for the next one to come out!

I loved that we are getting more of kage in this book. He is such an interesting character and I love the depth he brings to the relationships. I feel the same about all the side characters I think it's one of my favorite parts of this book in so invested in the friendships and relationships that are being made and it really adds to the tension!

I'm so intrigued by this world. There is so many new twists and layers added in at the very end of the book!! But I do still feel like more backstory/lore/world building is necessary. It always feels like there is something more I should know. Feel like I'm missing info since apparently her other book is a bit of a prequel to this but it's supposed to be able to be read as a stand alone.

WOW. That ending. I NEED to know what the hell just happened. The shifters, Florence, Neville. It was a lot of info dumping right with a huge cliff hanger at the end and I am excited to get to it!

I am not as invested in the Blake and medra relationship as I had hoped to be. I feel SO many of their problems could just be solved if they used their words. Miscommunication tropes is personally just not my jam.

I'm very invested and wanna know where this leads so I'm excited for the next book.
