HOLY FUCK WOW THAT ENDING HAD A LOT GOING ON

spoiler ahead:
I've got some theories

-the red stone dragon is Blake's dad
-Bc Blake is a dragon, he can hear Nyxaris. Remember how he ran in front of Nyxaris to tell him to go ahead and kill him? Medra hadn't said anything out loud before that to inform Blake of Nyxaris's thoughts. Nyxaris told Medra he should hurt Blake, Tanaka and Rodriguez for trying to trap him, then all of a sudden Blake runs in front of Nyxaris telling him to do it
-Florence is house Avari and she'll prob end up binding to Nyxaris. so that leaves Medra to bind to... Blake? Her mom?


Poor Luyana. Ugh I hope she ends up okay.
I hope Viktor is dead.
I hope Medra forgives Blake :-((( I just started liking him again

I'm low-key happy Aenia is dead. That bitch needed to go!! I know she's a kid and all but... lol am I messed up in the head for thinking that?

Wow. I really liked this book. The ending had me in a chokehold. Neville had me crying. The new friendships made me happy for Medra. I LOVE Nyxari, he’s so funny, but I also feel really bad for him. So much is left unsaid and there are so many cliffhangers! Not fair, but also quite fun. I’ve also never appreciated character growth as much as I have in this book. I’m so proud of Blake, and I never thought I’d say that. I was left feeling really happy (even with the dramatic ending), and I’m excited for the next book to come out. I am a little sad for Kage because it’s clear he likes Medra, but he has to watch her choose Blake who once openly disrespected her. I can’t imagine the anguish he must feel over that. I’m hoping he truly is good, and isn’t playing nice to use Medra and abuse her trust.

3.75⭐️ this entire book I was like “has anything happened?” its hard when there is no objective driving the plot. however, I did love the twist ending and j would have never guessed where that was going to go (still have no idea really?). the ending really bumped up my review!

I am not sure how I feel about this book. I feel like it ends leaving us right back at the end of book 1, I was bored for the first 60%. The characters keep making the same mistakes over and over. The only character I enjoyed was Nyxaris and Neville.
I thought the addition of Florence POV was useless. 
We basically learned nothing in this book.
I will read book 3 to see how it ends but that was a disappointing sequel for me.
