Fantastic storyline full of high octane action, love our FMC Harlow how comes to England from NY for her fathers funeral and gets enmeshed with the lords as her father’s reluctant heir in a secret society.
The plot is a great one and love her interactions with all four lords, can see plenty group action on the horizon in the next book, tho this book wasn’t without action. Not sure I agree with their methods to introduce her to the society, they seem cruel and heartless and engender love/hate feelings about them from Harlow.
Can’t wait to see where we go on this wild ride in the next book.

Right off the bat, great book.
With that being said it was kind of fast. Everything happened right at the beginning. Harlow is thrown to the wolves as soon as her dad's funeral is over. I get homegirl's pain and her thinking about the whole situation.

Review for both books in series: The smut and tension was awesome. Love the why choose possessive men books. The plot was seriously lacking, or rather there wasn't any depth. When one bad thing would happen it would be resolved within 1-2 chapters, and it kept going on about that way. I never got the chance to feel scared or anxious or anything for the characters because the solutions came so quickly. Kinda disappointing.
