The prose is fluid, the dialogue believable, and the characters engaging, making this an effortless read. Overall, it is a mysterious, compelling, and empowering novel that I would highly recommend!!

This book was lovely. I only gave it three stars because at times it felt a little slow and lost my attention (probably a symptom of reading too much action packed fantasy in between). But overall this book was beautiful and I loved the message about now obsessing over your regrets. It also gave me my idea for my next tattoo: “She would plant a forest inside herself.”

I think she should’ve gone crazier actually, and in less pages
Love the concept, and I do think think it touches on interesting themes, like the loss of identity in motherhood, isolation, loneliness, rediscovery of self, but I just really needed her to go full feral and teach her husband a more permanent lesson.
