The cover was very deceptive. I thought I'm reaching for a steamy gay romance and then it turned out it was all about grief and finding love in/despite it.
I have read a MM romance by Marley before and when I saw she wrote another I said “sign me up”!
I absolutely love a good MM romance, this one laced with tragedy over losing a loved one, I loved the love after loss aspect of this book. The way these two bonded and found love after losing someone so close to both of them is uplifting.
This book was a quick read for me but I felt every emotion that was beautifully written, I laughed and cried with these characters.
