Not a bad example of Childs' Jack Reacher novels. Lots of twists and turns, and a satisfying ending...the good guys are separated from the bad guys, the bad guys all get their due, Reacher puts his brain to work and figures things out, and everyone is left in a better place in the end. I wish I could tell time in my head the way Reacher does!

Well this was absolutely thrilling! Full of twists and turns and kept me guessing throughout. My first JR read was a real treat and I can absolutely see how people get hooked! I will definitely be back for more :D

3 Stars - This is book 10 in the series and i was, for the first time, disappointed with this Jack Reacher novel. Maybe i've just read too many of them recently, but this book wasn't as fun and took more effort to finish. The thing which stood out the most is that this book is very violent. Much more than any previous Reacher novel. If thoroughly described violence and mutilation of people bothers you, skip this one. The book was more of a burden than a joy to read. It involves kidnapping, ransom, murder, captured and tortured soldiers, deceit and evil. I'm really hoping the next book in the series is lighter, or i may be done with Jack Reacher.
