4.5⭐️ This book was such an easy ready and the humor was so incredibly fun! It reminded me of her other hilarious book the Takeover. These aren’t rom-coms but they can take on that feel for sure. This also had the vibes of TL Swan’s Mr. Series with the close knit group of men that meet up and have breakfast etc.
Which leads us into introducing us to a whole variety of people who I hope all get their own book! I mean the cul-de-sac situation is perfect and reminds me of the forgotten days of suburban block parties.
Throwing in Juliet’s dog Barry was awesome. Who doesn’t love an animal side kick??

We start off with Juliet meeting the enigmatic Henley James at a Hospital Charity Event
When Juliet meets Henley at a charity event for the Hospital she works for she’s immediately mesmerized by him and agrees to go out to dinner with him.
What follows is the most incredible date and night of Juliet’s life. After an hours long dinner where the two talked about everything and nothing they wind up spending the night together. Making plans to see one another again.
When the time comes however Henley is radio silent and doesn’t return Juliet’s calls. THEN she finds out he is out clubbing when they were supposed to be meeting.
Days later she and her brother Liam are out for lunch when they run into Henley. Who, is obviously a bit nervous at seeing her attempts to say hello and Liam jumps in pretending to be Juliet’s FIANCÉ!!

Fast forward three years and Juliet has bought a home on the beautiful Kingston Lane with inheritance from her grandmother. Excited at this new venture and opportunity to renovate the house to its former glory Juliet can’t wait to get started.
