Brilliant. Funny and heartfelt. And beautifully, uniquely Brisbane. Loved every minute of reading it so much I kept putting off finishing it because I wanted to savour every last line. Finished it with tears in my eyes and a big goofy grin on my face. Can't wait for Trent Dalton's next book!

Amazing Australian book - loved it and was a really cool piece of literature. Trent Dalton has an absolute amazing writing style and this book like his others is written so beautifully. I loved how the language and the language in the way the character spoke and thought grew as the character grew throughout the book. However the pacing on the start was a tad slow and took a little bit to get into
