I am kinda disappointed in this series as a whole.

I have read many of the twisted sisters books and loved them but this whole series fell flat for me.

The Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep is essentially smut with 0 plot. I understand this was a spoof made during COVID and it was a somewhat fun read considering I was able to finish the whole series, but I wish there was more substance to the characters and the plot.

I really didn’t like any of the characters, they were all pretty bland in terms of personality.

I am glad that they didn’t drag the series on for more than 4 books, it probably could have been a trilogy and been fine.

2.5⭐️

It was 2.75⭐️ but then I got to the epilogue where I find out what their kid MJ’s name stands for.. nope. So dumb.

This book was so action packed. So many things happened, but I was bored the entire time. I already know RH’s aren’t for me but with how much I loved ZA I wanted in on the community with the sister’s other works and maybe that was my bad. I won’t partake in any other sisters books that are written outside of Solaria. There was a lot of violence which is not my jam, but also….. all of the build up to have Tatum just pray and spray all of the bad guys at once? Very anticlimactic. And then it just ended?? Idk it was an anticlimactic ending to the whole thing before it went into the epilogue. Also the sex was SO much and SO UNREALISTIC.

The 24 hours after Tatum’s quarantine was complete had so much sex… how was that fun for anyone. Her and Saint start it off for their first time and then she gets just a little bit of sleep. Then they wake up and have a full blown orgy with all of the men. Then she goes and rescues Kyan and they have sex. Then they go to the safe house where her and Blake sneak out to give his dad the vaccine and then they have sex. THEN when they get home Saint punishes them by having another orgy???????? How is this realistic lol.

Also her relationship with Nash and Blake seems so surface level. They dive into the relationships with her and Saint and her and Kyan but they never get any depth with Blake EVER. The Nash relationship was in the first two books and then it’s just not there.

ALSO Saint is so autism coded I think it would have been better to slap a diagnosis on him omg.

Anyway…. This book wasn’t for me. I read it to be part of the group and I don’t truly regret it but also I didn’t have the best time. It was fine. Some fun parts some decent characters but I’m glad it’s over with and I’ll never read it again.

Queen of quarantine

The previous book in the brutal boys of everlake prep series focused a lot on Tatums individual relationships with the guys. In Queen of Quarantine we got to see more of how the group relationship as a whole worked. Also we saw a lot of relationship development between the guys and how their different personalities meshed into the group dynamic.

There was still a ton of craziness that went on in this book as well. The group had to fight to resolve their issues. From Tatum being taken at the end of book three, kyan being under the thumb of Liam, to saints crazy dad. Tatum and her guys had to work together to make it out on the top. They ended up working together perfectly as a group.

I loved this series and can’t wait to dive into the other series that intertwine with this one.

this book was everything!

I don’t think I’ve ever been more than satisfied with the ending of a series as I am with this one! I absolutely adored this series and the fact that the ending was sooo good and it was everything I could have ever hoped for from this series kyan, saint, blake,Nash and Tatum were everything I could have ever dreamed of and they saved eachother time and time again and they came out strong and built a family and life the hall deserved and I’m so happy about it! Through the trail and error and I thank fuck we didn’t lose any of them!

One of the things I love about these authors' books is their ability to make almost every smut scene in the series feel new and different. Their books are one of the few where I don't get annoyed when there's an abundance of smut.

This series had its highs and lows. I absolutely enjoyed the bullying in book 1 to the transformation of the relationship between all 5 main characters between books 2 and 3. Book 4 was completely different from the other 3 in that it principally did no longer deal with the evolution of their relationships but instead focused on lots of action. That said, I did find each book to be too long. I often found myself skimming entire pages after book 1.

This wasn't my favorite series by these authors, but they were a lot of fun to read anyway. The characters were well constructed and the banter between kept the pace following wonderfully. After book 1, I wasn't particularly attached to any of the characters, but come middle of book 2, I adored Saint's character the most. His was the most memorable to me.
