It's a classic for a reason, absolutely adored it even though I'm not usually a sci-fi fan.

It's incredible to see how much this book has influenced so many writers, filmmakers and directors over the years, so many examples of film and TV owe a lot to this book.

I would die for Marvin, he's by far my favorite character.

Excited to continue with the series.

Всё-таки тяжело мне даются аудиокниги. Бумажная версия претендовала бы на 5

I loved it!! It was crazy and very funny. My mom, who loved sci-fi books, couldn't read this, it was too insane for her, but for has a perfect choice, now, what that does tell you about me?

This was my first experience with the seminal Sci-fi series although I did have some exposure to Douglas Adams through the Dirk Gently television adaptation. Overall the story was fun and all of the characters are very interesting. Marvin the Paranoid Android stood out as one of my favorites. The prose can be a bit choppy at times as Adams goes into goofy tangents for bits at times. A lot of these are funny but after a while I find myself losing immersion with the world so I can hear how funny the narrator (Adams) is. I’m definitely inspired enough to keep reading and I definitely get the hype.
