I love these books and I love these girls. Their bond and friendship with those around them bring me so much joy that I can’t wait to share with my daughters one day. I love middle grade books because although they are written for a younger audience they often explore very grownup themes like parent relationships, new marriage, first loves, even death in a beautiful manageable way for young people. I can’t wait to read more about the Penderwick sisters.
