The beginning of this book was a bit slow, and the end came too quickly. I also really dislike the use of "and somehow they did" as a way to resolve issues in a book. Everen and Arcady are really fun protagonists, and I loved getting to see more Sorin.

I enjoyed this, and appreciated this was the last of a defined 2-book story. The ending felt a little flat. But I still enjoyed my time in this universe.
