One of the all-time great thrillers. I'm going to add it to the curriculum of my "Bestsellers" class.

Really good spy thriller. A lot of action and vivid scenes with a surprisingly good back story.

I read this book 10 years ago and decided to re-read it again. Book did not lose anything with passage of time and that says enough about it - it is still one of the best action books and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone interested in "dark arts" of espionage and murder. Characters are believable enough and not "all mighty" as is currently the case with majority of new books on similar subject.

Highly recommended.

A good old fashion assasain thriller. Strong female co-character for a change.

I’d give this book 3.5 stars, if that was an option. This spy thriller was a fun read, with some unexpected twists but the hero comes out on top, of course, but not without some heartbreaks along the way.

Could have been four stars if it hadn't felt dated. Good, fast moving, pop espionage. I'll read the rest of the series.

I love David Morrell's work. I have been meaning to read this book for a long time. Very good story if a bit dated. He is a master at writing intense action scenes. This was a real page-turner.
