I had read somewhere that Domenico Starnone is Elena Ferrante's Husband. When I heard of this book I had to buy it. I read it in one sitting and enjoyed it as much as if it were a Ferrante book. In fact it felt so much like one, I wonder if husband and wife help each other write their respective books.

واحدة من أفضل الروايات التي قرأتها مؤخراً - مبنية بحنكة ودهاء شديدين - الرواية إيطالية وترجمتها الأستاذة "أماني فوزي حبشي" بلغة رائعة.
القصة عبارة عن ملحمة صغيرة لأسرة من أب وأم وابن وابنة.
تلاعب المؤلف بإسلوب جميل جداً وبعمق شديد في أحداث الرواية ليلقي الضوء على أحاسيس أفراد العائلة وكيف تشابكت وتحورت وأثرت على مجريات الأمور !
