This is a second chance Mafia romance. It's the second book in this series and I'd definitely recommend reading the first book, the characters are involved in this story. The couples are very different and so is dynamic between the characters. This story has a more Sirius tone.
I had the pleasure to discuss this book with my therapist since the horrible mafia boss ain't got nothing on my father. Yeah me!

If people are expecting the same tone as lights out, then you’re gonna be disappointed.

This book took a completely different turn than I had expected from lights out however, I found that there was more chemistry and almost more realistic in the emotions of the couple. I found the character’s personality to be way more dynamic than lights out! As a pro sex work, individual myself loved this book!!
