I have found Devney Perry and I am never going back. I inhaled Coach and then was disappointed that Wildcat wasn't out yet. Then I could not stop myself from inhaling the Indigo Ridge series. Now, I picked up the first in the Runaway series and I can't stop, won't stop.

Londyn has a perfect life on paper with her wealthy husband Thomas, his successful business, their expensive mansion and her lavish clothes and lifestyle. All of that, and deep down she's still a simple girl who grew up with deadbeat parents and ran away to live in a junkyard. He's made her classier, sure, and got her to get her GED, but everything else is just extra. Now, he's cheated and she's out. Out to be on her own... That is until she has car trouble and she is stuck in Summers, West Virginia and gets towed by what may be the most attractive man she's ever seen. Fate keeps pushing them together, no matter how much Londyn is trying to leave Brooks Cohen and Summers behind. At some point she'll have to decide if she's going to stay committed to her cross country fantasy or the new one brewing in her mind.

I couldn't stop reading this one if I wanted to. It was such a quick read that had me hooked almost immediately and never let go. I was so enamored with Brooks and what he and Summer were building together. Loved this one so much!

my first and definitely not my last!

This is my first book by Devney Perry and it will for sure not be my last! This is an emotional story of self reflection and acceptance, with characters that are so real and raw that you are going to feel what they feel when they feel it.

Londyn’s go to is to run, when things get bad you don’t stick around you run. After her divorce is final, she has a plan, she packs a few suitcases and hits the road. But with all good plans, it only takes one event to change them totally.

Go get this story, go on Londyn’s journey with her, meet Brooks and all the other characters in this small town in West Virginia, you are going to fall in love with this world. I know I did!
