Starting off with the first book in the series, Runaway Road really set the bar for a wonderful storyline that featured a number of my favourite tropes.
Our FMC Londyn finds her way to a small town, albeit not by her own choice, where we're introduced to Brooks Cohen (my new favourite book boyfriend), and a few other side characters I absolutely adore... although not sure that Moira makes that list. Watching the relationships play out on the pages was wonderful, thanks largely in part to Perry's writing. The book was relatively low angst as well which I appreciated, even though it does touch on some more serious issues. And the epilogue was so sweet, considering that it leads us into the next instalment, Wild Highway.
If you're a fan of small town romance, with a swoon-worthy single dad and a "finding your home" theme, then this is certainly the book for you.

I had been in such a rut when it came to reading. I wasnt sure what I was looking for but I figured I would give this book a try. I was hooked from the very beginning! This book was refreshing and really pulled me out of the slump I was in! I need more!!!

I enjoyed the start to this series! Getting all of the information on Londyn's background and the junkyard she grew up in was enlightening. I am so intrigued about the rest of the group that Londyn became close with.
Brooks and Londyn's start was intriguing. They fell fast and hard for one another, and I enjoyed all of the little moments that they shared together. I was also so intrigued by who was behind trashing her car multiple times over the course of the book.
It was a fast and cute listen with a little bit of mystery involved!

Loved it! I even figured out who was causing the problems. And that's a big deal to me, because I never figure stuff out. :)
The story in this book progresses pretty fast, but it was still a good book. Didn’t really connect to the characters.
