I enjoyed this more than I enjoyed Blood and Steel, which is a great start! I think it helps that we know the characters already and the world.

The plot is very predictable and there were no great surprises, but it was fun to read nonetheless. I loved the cast of characters, with lots of really fun side characters and a return of Kipp and Cal and a bit of Wilder and Thea. I loved Torj and Wren but some of their decision making leaves a lot to be desired!

4.25 ⭐️✨. C’mon July - let’s go!!!! Need that second book!!

I did not read The Legonds on Thezmarr and still really enjoyed it. I didn’t feel like I was missing anything, there was enough explained in this to get the gist of the OG series.

I did notice some similarities of “connections” in other romantasy books but I think it’s just troupe for this genre. I also happen to like fated mates or characters that have a deeper tether to each other and the way the author wrote was original (to me).

Looking forward to more books from H.S.

Happy reading my fellow fanro’s
