Great storyline, and the relationship between the 2 main characters was absolutely romantic. Pulled on my heart strings. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars simply because the dialectic between the 2 main characters was pretty repetitive and boring at times. I found myself wanting to skip through it frequently.

Basically every character spoke in fragments, and that drove me crazy.
This was a sweet book with the perfect mix of drama and romance. I loved how the relationship started quickly and had very little drama within it, the drama was exterior. Not a perfect book, but it was a light read I couldn't put down.
Update- reread this book…concerned about the abusive relationship of the main character. I don’t think it’s romantic and don’t think it should be romanticized. I don’t think it’s ever ok for a man to put his hands on you in anger. He would move her body or grab her when he was burning with anger. I think the way the main character is terrified of him when he is angry, how he controls her- is all very scary. This early on in a relationship, makes me think that the abuse would progress.
I do love Kristin Ashley. I’ve read through this series several times. I love how she mixes romances with drama/crime.
