I love the quirky character!
The witty banter combined with her lepidopterist/lady scientists character made this book incredibly enjoyable.
This book is a light and enjoyable read set in the late 1800s. Veronica Speedwell is a worldly spinster of 25. After the last of her unrelated aunts dies, Veronica is prepared to tour the world, in search of butterflies and adventure. Adventure of an unexpected variety upsets her plans and provides an entertaining tale.
I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Veronica is awesome!!!

I'm sure she'll end up with Stoker eventually, but this isn't really a romance. Series-long, perhaps...but this individual book, definitely no.

The audiobook narrator is excellent, as well.
