I love this series! This book has gotten some negative reviews which I do not understand. It was very different from A Marvelous Light but no less thrilling and entertaining. I particularly liked the focus on the women in this story - not just the two lead heroines but the backstory of the older women and why they did what they did (no spoilers). This series is filled with an intricate cast of characters and a wonderfully complex plot curve. I can't wait to read the third book!
