I read A Marvellous Light a few years back and never ended up continuing the series, so I decided to rectify that in 2025. And I have no regrets because this was such a fun read! 

I love a locked room mystery and this one taking place on a ship made it all the more exciting. Maud and Violet were such fun characters to follow and although it’s been a while since I read the first book, I was quickly brought back into the world. Although the book is continuing on the journey of trying to solve the same “main thing” as in the first book, it was fun to go on the adventure through different characters this time.
