Soooooo boring. This makes me think of one of those like flourless dark chocolate cakes that’s like brick hard and too rich and that you take two bites of it before being like “why did I order this?” Like yes, this book has smut, but like I couldn’t hold on long enough in this book to actually like get to a good part, if there even is one? I don’t know.
Samantha Towle has written the perfect summer beach read. You get fun in the sun and under the sheets. And that is definitely what I’m wanting right now!
I was going to give it 3 stars, but after the two week vacay and her career thing I just felt like it was a lazy cop out. That whole bit was so uninspired. The first half was definitely better than the second.
Gosh darn it, I kind of hate to admit how much I enjoyed this one.
It took me two glasses of wine to get started (the opening just kind of dumps you in, so don't be prepared for much of a plot, folks)-- but you know what? It's EXACTLY what I needed as a summertime diversion. A fun and quick read for fans of the new adult genre who may have an interest in slightly older characters (this couple is late 20s).

I absolutely devoured this book oh my gosh, this has to be one of my favourites of all time. Their banter and wit is just so good, and their chemistry and tension is unbelievable, such a well written plot. I adore this book!
Let me start by saying this: You can choose your family, and just like with anybody else, if they're too toxic, they should be out. Bravo, Dillon!
Right at the beginning we get transported to the Maldives (already looking to book a holiday there next year!!) and it was exactly what I needed. I didn't just fall in love with Dillon, the heroine, and West, the hero, but I fell in love with the location.
Dillon goes on her honeymoon ... without a groom.
West visits a prime newlywed location ... by himself.
You know where this is going, right? This vacation is turning out to be everything these two need to get away.
Booze and no strings.
But we all know how best laid plans go.
At the end of their two week vacation these loveable characters need to decide wether their boozy vacation fling was enough, or if they want to take it into the real world.
We follow Double D and West through an adventure and some plot twists that I didn't see coming, and now I really wish I could be at a beach, reading this book all over!
Samantha Towle had me lusting after all the right things from page one and I can't wait to reread this when I finally get to laze around on the beach.
